She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Louis Marschner and Anna Heins Marschner; and her husband Richard P. Boynton. She is survived by: her children, Robert P. Boynton (Betsy) of Kannapolis, NC and Lois Boynton of Chapel Hill, NC; her pet Pepper; and also Varry Simengwa. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
