It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther James of Bahama, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Crawford James and Annie Christine James; his brother Tommie James; his wife Sandra D. James; his daughter Jennifer James Marshburn; his stepdaughter Kellie Grubic (Jason); his sister Melissa James Gilbert (Fred); his grandchildren, Lynn White (Bryan), Laura Clark (Bryan) and Kevin Marshburn (Christina); and his pet Jessie. He was also cherished by seven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital: 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
