It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lodoskia Carmichael Bass of Bahama, North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Carmichael and Carrie Robinson Carmichael; her husband William Walter Bass; and her brother Joe "Toad" Carmichael. She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Tucker (Rick) of Hillsborough and Pam Weaver (Ken) of Bahama; her brother Randy Carmichael (Bobby); her grandchildren, Carl Roberts, Carrie Miller and Landon Weaver; and her stepgrandson Mike Tucker. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many much-loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
