He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Burgin (Meg) of Apex, Jason Burgin (Sara) of Raleigh and Benjamin Burgin (Karen) of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, Luke, Jenna, Olivia, Ethan, Ryland, Drew, Dalton, Kailyn, Aven and Gavin Burgin; his brother James Burgin of Oxford; and his nephews, Justin and Jim Burgin.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blalock Family Cemetery (928 John Oakley Rd, Prospect Hill, NC 27314).
