It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Ray Ellis of Bahama, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso "Kitty" Ellis and Annie Joyce Ellis; his wife Darlene Blalock Ellis; and his brother Michael Dale "Ellis" Cash. He is survived by: his brothers, Jackie Wayne Ellis and Johnny Carold Ellis; and his niece Annie Marie Ellis (Katie Ann Cash).
