It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Elizabeth Blalock Ellis of Bahama, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Blalock and Ruby Elizabeth Broughton Blalock; and her brother Carl Thomas Blalock. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Ray Ellis; her daughters, Tammy Watkins (Randy) of Hillsborough, Amy Smith of Timberlake and Annie Ellis of Mebane; her sister Marilyn Ivey of Durham; and her grandchildren, Courtney Watkins, Michael Spina and Emma Buck.
