She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Douglas Naillon and Virgie Shults Naillon; her son Robert Jackson Thornton, Jr.; and her brother Joe Douglas Naillon, Jr.. She is survived by: her significant other Robert J. Thornton, Sr.; her daughter JoAnne T. Couch (Chip); her daughter-in-law Trudy Thornton; her grandchildren, April Powell, Tarah Sherr (Jamie), Joanna Havens (Jason), Rebecca Smith (Nathan), Elizabeth Wood (James), Jean and Stacy Thornton; and her great grandchildren, Abby, Kayla, Natalie and Kathryn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bahama: Blanche Naillon Thornton, 82, went to meet her Savior on Sunday, February 9, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
