He is survived by: his wife Vicki McCubbins Ross; his children, Lanny Ross, Jr. (Andrea) of Badin and LeAnn Nance (Chuck) of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Ashley Watson (Cole) of Albemarle, Samantha Ross of Albemarle, Allison Wise (Johnathon) of Albemarle and Amanda Nance of San Diego, CA; his great grandchildren, Joshua Morton and Justin Watson; and his sister Janelle Bowles (Shirley Hinson).
