With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Lane Matthews (Aydlett, North Carolina), born in Currituck, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edmond Dowdy and Ruth Mae Crain Dowdy; her husband Alfonso Falcon Lane, Sr.; and her sons, Eddie Troy Lane and James Michael Lane.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Ardis M. Cole of Chesapeake, VA; her sisters, Grace J. Cummins and Ruby L. Mostaka; and her daughters-in-law, Janet Lane of Chesapeake, VA, Rebecca Lane of Poplar Branch, NC and Dottie Jordan of Aydlett, NC.. She is also survived by three granddaughters; two grandsons; several great grandchildren.
