He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Lee Buck Loftin; his wife Susan Dixon Loftin; his daughter Jessica Loftin Hill (Andy Hill) of Ayden; his grandsons, Nicholas Blake Lawson of Ayden, Landon Grant Lawson of Ayden, Andrew Logan Hill of Ayden and Christopher Landon Hill of Rose Hill; and his sister Janet Loftin Newman (Joseph Newman) of New Bern. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
