She is survived by: her daughter Ponza Abayomi (Babatunde); her grandchildren, Ayo, Emilola, Folashade, Michael (Sherri), Phyllis (Kadell), Tymeshia, Demond (Valarie), Ceaser (Asia) and Regina; her cousins, Mary Elizabeth Crandall Thompson, Deborah, Donna, Sylvia Ann and Latoya; and her daughter-in-law Anita Blount. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
