He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Morrison Mckoy (Benjamin) of Greenville, NC, Dannielle Morrison Mayo, Dawndolyn Walden of Raleigh, NC, LaToyoa Taylor-Majette (Mitchell) of Jonesboro, GA, Kia Williams-Shields (Sheygan) of Delaware and Erica Green of Florida; his brother Miguel Rasheed of Raleigh, NC; and his children, Candace Wiggins Elliott of Zebulon, NC, Charlie Wiggins III of Washington, DC, Jeanette Blackwell of Apex, NC and Kevin Williams of Durham, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, great -grandchildren, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Don Brown Funeral Home (497 Second St, Ayden, NC 28513). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (2617 Mt Zion Church Rd, Apex, NC 27502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Homestead Memorial Gardens Cemetery (4251 E 10th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
