He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Peterson Jones; his children, Demetric Fenner of Greenville, NC, Rodney Peterson of New Haven, CT, De'Ray Fields of Portsmouth, VA, George Wesley Peterson of Portsmouth, VA, Bryant Peterson of New Haven, CT, Mary Sparkman of Kinston, NC, Brenda Faye Jones-McFadden of Jacksonville, NC and Lakisha Peterson of New Haven, CT; and his sisters, Aleline Jones of Ayden, NC, Aldline Edwards of Ayden, NC and Betty Bryant of Ayden, NC. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
