She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward Carter and Gertrude Wilkins Carter; and her siblings, Edward J. Carter, Earl M. Carter, Leola M. Fossett, Crystabel Guess and Eulalia M. Branch.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelia (Rupert); her siblings, Freddie Carter of Littleton, NC, Doris Royster of Towson, MD and Wayne Carter (Barbara) of Bushwood, MD; and her sisters-in-law, Merdis Berthau of Elkridge, MD and Mary Zollicoffer of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
