He is survived by: his children, Kimani Lynn Monk (Eric Hardy) of Greenville, NC, Marty Mills of Charlotte, NC and Tyrone Williams of Shreveport, LA.; his grandchildren, Romeo Monk of Greenville, NC, Morgan Monk of Greenville, NC and Madison Mills of Charlotte, NC.; and his siblings, Joyce Monk Payton (Jasper) of Greenville, NC, Gerald Monk of Greenville and Alphonza Monk (Carla) of New Hampshire.
