She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Hymond of Greenville; her grandchildren, George Best (Tierra Best), Meta Baker and KaTasha Hymond of Greenville; her sister Zephaline Bell of Princeton; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Maye (J. Lynn Maye) and Doris M Maye (J. L. Maye) of Ayden. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
