He is survived by: his mother Fannie Dixon Prayer; his close friend Barbara Brown of Waldorf, MD; his children, Rodrick Prayer of Denver, CO, Anitra Prayer-Rogers of Greenville, NC, Jessica Prayer of Camden, NC and Jennifer Prayer-Pendleton of Camden, NC; his siblings, George Prayer of Ayden, NC, Bobby Prayer of Cary, NC, Rodney Prayer of Hookerton, NC, Gregory Prayer of Jacksonville, NC and Audrey Prayer Williams of Greenville, NC; and his goddaughter Jacqueline Prayer-Colvin of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19, the governor has asked that all gatherings only have 50 people.
