She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Joyner and Peggy Joyner; her grandparents, William and Mary Lee Buck; and her mother-in-law Patricia Strickland.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Michael Joyner (Angela); her siblings, Rita Joyner Coltrain (Timothy) and Raymond Joyner (Deborah); her fiancé Ronnie Ross; her niece Samantha Squitieri (Bo); her nephew Austin; and her pet MiniPoo. She is also survived by other loving nieces and nephews.
