He was predeceased by: his father Earl Stancill; his siblings, Irene, Joyce, Robert, Ray and Jamie; and his parents-in-law, Guy and Lee Kite.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kite Stancill; his daughters, Denise S. Doughtie (Jim) of Stokes and Heather S. Gibbs (Eric) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Kristi Harrison (Shane Taylor) of Williamston, Zachery Harrison of Stokes, Dylan Morris of Stokes and Kacey Morris of Stokes; his sister Hilda Foster (Richard) of Bahama; his sister-in-law Nora Stancil of Greenville; and his pet Dixie. He is also survived by his family as a man who loved his family and especially his grandchildren.
