It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mac Taylor (Ayden, North Carolina), who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mac Taylor to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton Taylor and Grace Worthington Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Pat Taylor; his children, Dana Taylor (Katherine) of Wilson, Benji Taylor (Janice) of Winterville and Tammy Oakes (Bennie) of Hookerton; his siblings, Joy T. Wise (Alvin) of Southern Pines and Danny Taylor (Sherri) of Ayden; his grandchildren, Matt Taylor, Kate Taylor, Zac Taylor, Gabby Taylor, Amber Oakes and Ashley Campbell; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Charlotte Campbell; his aunt Ilene Jones; his uncles, Robert Worthington (Alice Faye) and Ed Taylor; his nephew Blake Taylor; and his nieces, Marina Taylor and Kim Wise.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Ormondsville OFWB Church 3745 Ormondsville Road, Ayden, NC 28513 or the American Diabetes Foundation.

“Dear Pat, This was not the news I wanted to hear. Mac was my favorite cousin and I loved him very much. I can remember taking him rabbit hunting when he was a teenager. He was my friend and when my wife passed away 11 years ago he was there to comfort me. We will meet again in a much better place. Love you all. Nick Ginn and family.”
