He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Allison Williams Blount; his mother Anna Blount of Vanceboro, NC; his children, Isaac Blouny of Wilson, NC, Tevin Blount of Long Pond, PA, Calvin Graham of Phoenix, Kelsey Blount of Long Pond, PA and Wanda Blount; and his siblings, William Blount of Bronx, NY, Robert Blount of Vanceboro, NC, Roger Blount of Vanceboro, NC, Betty Hardy of Vanceboro, NC, Gloria Guerrant of Philadelphia, PA, Jackie Graham of Vanceboro and Dorothy Parker of Vanceboro. He was also cherished by four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
