He is survived by: his children, Glenda Shirley (Horace) of Hookerton, Dora Sumrell (Gary) of Winterville, Gene Forrest (Bunnie) of Richlands and Bryan Forrest (Catherine) of Saginaw, MI; and his siblings, Gerald Forrest of Greenville and Ann Ball of Cary.
