He is survived by: his wife Delores Ann Brown; his sons, Jimmy Lee Horton of Greenville, NC and Donald Horton of Vanceboro, NC; his stepsons, Wilbert Ellis of Winterville, NC and Thomas Ellis of Ayden, NC; his daughters, Laurice Brame of Bowie, MD, Venetia Gillespie of Winterville, NC and Diane Shackleford of Winterville, NC; and his siblings, Lindsey Brown of Ayden, NC, Morris Brown of Winterville, NC, Leon Brown of Memphis, TN, Shirley Brown of Ayden, NC, Bernice Whitehurst of Ayden, NC, Pastor Diane Parker of Greenville, NC, Cynthia Mobley of Greenville, NC and Linda Mobley of Greenville, NC. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
