It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan David Clayborne (Ayden, North Carolina), born in Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Clayborne and Yvonne Sheppard Clayborne; and his brother Mark Clayborne. He is survived by: his wife Joan King Clayborne; his sons, Jeremy Claybone of Grifton and J. C. Clayborne (Rochelle) of Ayden; and his siblings, Linda Hamilton (Franz), Gayle Allen and Steve Clayborne (Jackie).
