He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Darden Ellis; his sons, Elder Owen Forbes of Raleigh, NC and JohnKista Cox of Ayden, NC; and his siblings, Lester Ellis of Ayden, NC, Don Ellis of Raleigh, NC, Elder Marian Dudley of Jacksonville, NC, Linnea Ellis Brittian of Greensboro, NC, Debra Ellis Issa of Greensboro, NC and Vivian Ellis Haskins of Hertford County, NC. He was also cherished by one grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
