She was predeceased by: her husband William Coles; and her children, Richard Coles and Vera Connor. She is survived by: her children, Frances Odham of Ayden, Sara Barber of Goldsboro, Roxie Houze of Newnan, GA, Mike Coles of Newnan, GA, Hazel Wood (Barry) of Ayden and Jimmy Coles (Renae) of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
