It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Shields Dixon (Ayden, North Carolina), who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Clyde Willis of Grimesland, NC, Ada Roach and Barbara Major of Greenville, NC; and her siblings, James Taft of Bowling Green, KY, Edward Taft of Bowling Green, KY, Eldress Martha Brown of Greenville, NC, Cora "Ruby" Culpepper of Greenville, NC and Judy Howard of Ayden, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
