He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert A. Spikes and Lugenia "Jean" Heath Spikes; his wife Linda Williams Spikes; his children, Alan Spikes (Dawn), Glen Spikes (Janie) and Mary Catherine Thomas (Adam); his grandchildren, Lauren Nelson (Joseph), Chadwick Thomas, Shannon Johnson (Ashley) and Justin Smith; and his great grandchildren, Allie, Braeden and Ellie.
