She was predeceased by: her husbands, Glenn C. Hays and J. W. Stancill; her siblings, Mary Lou Gilchrist and James A. Jackson, Jr.; and her parents, James A. Jackson and Philomena "Minnie" Hayes Jackson.

She is survived by: her son Mike Hays. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, a private service will be held in Ayden Cemetery.
