It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Arnold Jones (Ayden, North Carolina), who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen and Nina Bell Jones. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hudson Jones; his children, Chris Jones (Cindy) of Black Jack, Timothy Jones (Christy) of Greenville and Donna J. Hill (Glenn) of Winterville; his grandchildren, Michelle Jones, Christopher Jones (Alexis), Corey Hill, Kelsey Jones and Katelyn Hill; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney Housand, Brandi Lunos (Michael), Savanna White, Samantha Grimsley (Justin) and Kristina Hill; his great grandchild Liam Jones; his stepgreat-grandchildren, C. J., Carleigh and Cambree Housand; and his sisters, Shirley Baines and Evelyn Sreeter.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the local Ronald McDonald House, 529 Moye Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834.
