He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo McLawhorn and Martha Nelson McLawhorn; and his sister-in-law Florence McLawhorn. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McLawhorn; his daughter Sandra M. Parker of Winterville; his brothers, A. J. McLawhorn (Barbara) of Greenville and Jasper McLawhorn of Valdosta, GA; his grandson Colby L. Buck of Newport, NC; and his pet Max.
