It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Freeman Fujita of Ayden, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Yeshiro Fujita and Margaret P. Pillow. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Fujita; his grandson Marvin Chance (Dabrenia); and his great grandchildren, Taniya Turner, Marvin Chance Jr., Peyton Patterson and Tristan Harris.
