He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Wilson (Danny) of Wilson and Gale Barnes (Keith) of Wilson; his stepchildren, Pam Dawson (Ronnie) of Gibsonville, Walter R. "Pete" Avery (Juanita) of Wilmington and Kim A. Pate (David) of Winterville; his grandchildren, Michael Wilson, Mark Wilson (Tiffany, Anna Wilson), Will Barnes (Christine, Michael Sanderson), Ashley Arnold and Kathryne Avery; and his great grandchildren, Lauryn Arnold, Olivia M. Brock, Graham Brock, Kadance Aycock, David Aycock and Luke Wilson.
