It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Edward Hardee (Ayden, North Carolina), who passed away on July 23, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Carr Hardee and Eula Mae Mills Hardee; and his brother Douglas Hardee. He is survived by: his wife Mary D. Hardee; his sons, Donald "Donnie" Hardee, Jr. (Jennifer) of Greenville and Ronnie Hardee (Karen) of Winterville; his grandchildren, Taylor M. Jones of Greenville, Grace Ann Hardee of Greenville, Elliott Jones of Greenville, Haylea Hardee of Ayden and Reese Farmer of Winterville; his sisters, Judy Hardee Harris (Leon), Judy Skalavos and Diane Cannon (Larry); and his sisters-in-law, Delores Hardee and Debbie Johnson (Ricky). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and cousins.
