She was predeceased by: her son Bobby Davidson; and her parents, Basil Gillespie and Lillian Gross. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon McLaughlin (Tim) of Ayden, NC; her grandchildren, Samantha McLaughlin of Ayden, Alysa McLaughlin of Ayden and Cody McLaughlin of Ayden; her siblings, David Gillespie of Martinsville and Jessica Gillespie of Axton; her niece Tonya Gillespie of Martinsville; and her nephews, Jeremy Gillespie of Martinsville, Nathan and Samuel Gillespie of Virginia.
