It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Earl Tripp of Ayden, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Newcomb Tripp; his parents, Velma Tripp and Leonard Tripp; and his siblings, Wilbur, J. B., Carl Tripp, Olivia Baker and Darah Sutton.

He is survived by: his stepsons, David of Ayden and Doug Smith of Ayden.
