It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Cannon (Ayden, North Carolina), born in Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cannon and Essie Cannon; and his siblings, Mary Dolores Cannon, Nancy Carol Cannon, Bobby Ray Cannon and Alice Cannon Daniel.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Cannon (Karen) of Ayden, Marc Cannon (Susan) of Farmville and Brad Cannon of Swansboro; his grandchildren, Lexi Cannon, Dustin Cannon, Cody Cannon, Chase Cannon and Jackson Cannon; and his brothers, Donald Dewitt Cannon of Ayden and R. L. Cannon, Jr. of Vanceboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
