He was predeceased by: his parents, William Daniel Morrison and Mabelle Short Morrison; his son Mike; and his sister Dottie. He is survived by: his wife Rita Morrison; his daughters, Crystal, Christy, Ashley and Sherrie (H. S. Williams); his grandchildren, Ethan and Shelby; his son Kenny; and his great grandchildren, Chloe and Leighanna.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
