She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Lupo and Ara Strickland Lupo; her sister Doris; her brother-in-law Edwin Winship; her son-in-law Keith Adams; and her brother-in-law Wallace Jernigan.
She is survived by: her husband Matthews; her daughters, Angela Adams of Wade, Janine Mullis (Michael) of Palm Coast, FL and Gretchen Averitte (Mitchell) of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew Adams, Kyle Adams and Emelyn Averitte; and her sister Byrd Jernigan of Wade.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Clement Baptist Church (6020 Maxwell Rd, Autryville, NC 28318). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth's memory to the Scholarship Fund at Clement Baptist Church, 6020 Maxwell Road, Autryville, NC 28318.
