She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Lupo and Ara Strickland Lupo; her sister Doris; her brother-in-law Edwin Winship; her son-in-law Keith Adams; and her brother-in-law Wallace Jernigan.
She is survived by: her husband Matthews; her daughters, Angela Adams of Wade, Janine Mullis (Michael) of Palm Coast, FL and Gretchen Averitte (Mitchell) of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew Adams, Kyle Adams and Emelyn Averitte; and her sister Byrd Jernigan of Wade.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth's memory to the Scholarship Fund at Clement Baptist Church, 6020 Maxwell Road, Autryville, NC 28318.
