He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wayne Tanner, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Lois Faircloth Bullard (Edward) of Autryville; his wife Amanda C. Tanner; his children, Elijah B. Jacobs (Natalie) of Newton Grove, Sydney Morgan Tanner and Robert Wayne Tanner, III; his granddaughters, Nadia Heath, Lana Jacobs and Ava Jacobs; his sister Shannon Faircloth (Donald) of Stedman; his stepsiblings, Karen Holder (Gary) of Sanford, Daren Bullard (Melissa) of Vale, NC and Brandon Bullard of Roseboro; his nephew Bryson Faircloth of Autryville; his niece Taylor Faircloth of Stedman; his aunts, Peggy Faircloth of Roseboro and Jeanette Tanner of Autryville; and his granddaughter Willow. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (401 W Roseboro St, Roseboro, NC 28382). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Union Baptist Church (2300 Pleasant Union Rd, Roseboro, NC 28382).
