She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy Spell and Annie Mae Royal Spell; her husband Fred Honeycutt; her brother Henry Spell; and her sister-in-law Faye Honeycutt.
She is survived by: her sons, Carlton Honeycutt (Linda) of Autryville and Jamie Honeycutt (Jenneth) of Autryville; her grandchildren, Ross Honeycutt of Autryville, Grace Honeycutt of Autryville, Regan Honeycutt of Autryville and Faith Honeycutt of Autryville; her brother Mark Spell (Jeannie) of Durham; her nephew Charles Wayne Jackson; and her niece Donna Faye Scott.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Opal Honeycutt to Clement Baptist Church, 6020 Maxwell Road, Autryville, NC 28318.
