She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Atkinson and Madee ButlerAtkinson; her brother Adrian Atkinson; and her grandson Dewey Addison Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her daughter Chandra; her stepdaughter Benita; her foster daughter Gabrilla; her granddaughter Shonie Smith; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Ryleigh, Kazi and Kellian.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elizabeth Missionay Baptist Church (2316 Maxwell Rd, Autryville, NC 28318). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025.
