He is survived by: his wife Mildred Smith; his sons, Walter Smith and Charles Smith; his stepchildren, Linda Bullard (Donald), Barbara Edwards (Sammy), Jeanette Sessoms (Erwin), Tommie Williams and Douglas Williams; his grandchildren, Dalton Smith, Heather Locks (Larry), Logan Smith, Debbie Lynn Cashwell (Michael), Sydney Smith, Jo Jo Smith, Jonathan Monoco, Abby Monoco and Jamie Smith; his great grandchildren, Colton Smith, Madison Cashwell Kayle Cashwell and Cameron Cashwell; and his siblings, Lura Friedman (Ralph), Earl C. Smith (Louvina), Edom Smith (Pat), Chester Smith, Joe Smith (Janie), Jasper "Jack" Smith (Brenda) and Hurley Smith (Betty Sue).
