With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertie Spell (Autryville, North Carolina), born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2020 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vetron Draughon and Larrie Bass Draughon; and her husband Harold Spell. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Mann (Scott) of Autryville, Dean Purvis (William) of Autryville and Allen Spell (Michelle) of Autryville; her stepsons, Gibson Spell of Autryville and Ray Spell (Pat) of Macon, GA; and her siblings, Vickie Draughon and Johnnie Draughon of Autryville. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
