She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Strickland and Katie Dell Holland Strickland; and her husband Max B. Tew. She is survived by: her sons, J. D. Tew (Kellie) of Autryville and Robert Tew (Madonna) of Autryville; her sister Margaret Butler (Harold) of Salemburg; her grandchildren, Mark Haggerty (Misty), Brooks Haggerty, Erin Dowgiallo, Dylan Tew (Jena) and Daniel Tew; and her great grandchildren, Helena, Kelsie, Orion and Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Faye Tew to Zoar Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, 740 Zoar Church Road, Salemburg, NC 28385.
