It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edward Dew (Aurora, North Carolina), born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Dew and Richard Sr. Dew; and his siblings, Richard Dew Jr. (Chops), Thomas Dew, Hazel Small and Patricia Furlough.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Dew; his nieces and nephews, Kathryn Holmes (John), Tanya Mallard (Ralph), Chistopher Small, Eric Mercer and John Richard (Jewels); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Natiley, Dakota, Layla, Logan, Lucas, Mary, Kristopher and Miranda; and his close friends, Lorrie and Joy.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the White Hill Free Will Baptist Church (9204 Old Sandhill Rd, Aurora, NC 27806).
