It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Louise Brantley Allen (Aurora, North Carolina), who passed away on October 30, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Carmen Allen Potter; and her grandchildren, Penelope Lewis Autry and Bryan Midyette III. She is survived by: her spouse David Earl Allen; her children, David Allen, Jr. of Chapel Hill, NC, Karen Garris (Don) of Goldsboro, NC and Ronda Lewis (Freddie) of Hobucken, NC; her grandchildren, Freddie Lewis Jr (Ghersal), Charles Allen Midyette (Karen), Randy Overton, Donell Garris (Veronica) and Maryanne Garris Stabler (Jon); her great grandchildren, Miranda Lewis, Kylie Midyette, Piper Midyette, Reagan Overton, Riley Overton, Madilynn Garris and Josie Garris; and her great great grandchildren, Mykayla Gualtieri and Brantley Gualtieri.
