He is survived by : his children, Carlos Dean Hughes (Deborah), Debra Hughes Potter (James, Jr.), Kenneth Allen Hughes (Sandra) and Kathy Hughes Winfrey (Sandy); and his grandchildren, William Joseph Hughes, Rebecca Lynn Hughes, Martha Jo Potter, Jamee Carol Potter, Danielle Stilley and Derek Bennett. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
