He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Hollowell, Sr. and Sallie Palistian Swain Hollowell; and his siblings, Grover Hollowell, Jr., William, Nathan, Benjamin, Joe Hollowell, Virginia Bennett, Mildred Stilley, Sallie Brantley and Alice Hollowell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
