He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Futrell and Betty Sue Futrell; his children, Ethel Futrell of Ahoskie, NC, Angela Draughn of Ahoskie, NC, Sallie Kennedy (Lue) of Roxobel, NC, Catherine Lee (Bernard) of Aulander, NC, Jackie Futrell (Annette) of Ahoskie, NC, Robert Futrell (Mattie) of Aulander, NC, Willie Futrell, Jr. (Helen) of Aulander, NC, Michael Futrell (Detra) of West Palm, FL and Roosevelt Futrell (Gloria) of Murfreesboro, NC; and his sister Josie Mae Earley of Rich Square, NC. He was also cherished by twenty-four grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
